Alice eelman

The Staff/Pastor Parish Relations Committee is pleased to introduce Alice Eelman, who has accepted the position of Accompanist and Choir Director at GFUMC. Alice has a degree in Music Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and completed additional course work at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. She has been the Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Joseph’s Church in Herndon, VA. for the past 15 years. During that time, she trained, rehearsed, and scheduled accompanists, choirs, cantors, handbell choir and wedding coordinators.  She planned music for every liturgy and special sacrament and events in the church. .
