Our Pastor – Livingstone S. Dore
Livingstone was born on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts (also known as St. Christopher), part of the twin island federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College and a Master of Divinity degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Livingstone was ordained an Elder in the Central Pennsylvania (now The Susquehanna Conference) in 2003.
Before coming to Virginia, he served churches in the Central PA Conference for several years. His last appointment was in Hershey, PA. In Virginia, he served as pastor of Charles Wesley UMC in McLean, Chamberlayne Heights UMC in Henrico, and as associate pastor at Ramsey Memorial UMC in Richmond. He has been the pastor of Great Falls UMC, Great Falls, since 2016.
Livingstone’s passion for ministry focuses on preaching, teaching, mission, and outreach. He has served on various Boards and Agencies at the District and
Conference levels and in various community organizations. This includes serving on The Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Richmond and Capital Area Partnership Uplifting People (CAPUP) in Richmond.
He and his wife, Michele, have two adult children (Livingstone Jr. and Miranda) and are now proud grandparents to Cameron and Carson.
